This was one of the two pieces that I submitted for the Art Show at The Artists' Nook.

The photo doesn't show this well, but the butterfly wings are curled, so the butterfly is dimensional. It was a serendipitous discovery. I had coated the piece with several coats of gel medium and set it on the counter to dry. I was fiddling with it while talking on the phone one day. After my conversation, I realized that I had curled the wings and they seemed pretty content to stay that way!
wow!! Those colors are my favorite to work with. Happy to hear that it sold! Not that I am suprised. :)
